Laboratory for Agricultural Digitalization and Intelligence

The Laboratory for Agricultural Digitalization and Intelligence aims to drive technological innovation in the agriculture and livestock industries by applying artificial intelligence and big data technologies across the sector, while also securing core and foundational technologies.

Rather than focusing on a single domain, the lab seeks to integrate optimal technologies wherever data exists and AI algorithms can be effectively applied.

Ongoing Research

1. Development of an AI-Based Plant Phenotyping Microgravity Simulation Device for Space Agriculture 2025 -

2. Development of Multi-Modal Imaging-based Growth Monitoring and Integrated Energy-Environmental Management Technology for Optimizing Production of Specialty and Medicinal Crops in Vertical Farms for the Northeastern U.S. Region 2025 -

3. Development and Advancement of AI Models for Predicting Growth and Quality Index of High-Value Crops Linked with Simulators for Digital Twin 2025 -

4. Development of High-Efficiency Intelligent Light Environment Control and AI-based Multi-Modal Imaging Technology for Crop Growth Analysis 2025 -

5. Development of Growth Monitoring, Automated Phenotyping Analysis, and Growth Mapping Technology for Cold-Climate Crops 2025 -
